FREE LOANER ADAPATERS, water line or power extension cords
Our power poles are located on every second site, and you may need an extension for power to reach your RV power or water service. Most Water supply lines are located at the rear of your site, some RVs have 15 amp plug ins, some have 30 amp plug ins. We have adaptors for both 15 amp – 30 amp or 30 amp – 15 amp, as well as power and water extensions. You need to come to the Check-In / Visitor Registration Centre to fill in the LOANER FORM, follow the instructions on the form, a refundable security deposit will be charged to your credit card & returned (within 48 hours) to credit card account once loaner equipment is returned. ALL LOANER EQUIPMENT MUST be returned to the Check-In / Visitor Registration Centre. Do leave equipment at your site. Failure to return LOANER equipment to the Check-In / Visitor Registration Centre will result in full replacement costs being charged to your account.
SANI DUMP/DUMP STATION / WATER FILL STATIONS
We offer on-site sani dump (located beside the bathrooms / laundry facilities) fee for using Dump Station is $10.00 (payment envelopes are located at the Check-In Centre). We also offer Mobile Dump Service (2x/week). We come to your Site / RV and drain your Black & Grey tanks, fee for mobile dump service is $30 plus 5% GST. We also offer a list of FREE Dump Stations located in Hinton (if you are travelling Westbound) and Edson (if you are travelling Eastbound). All request forms, instructions & payment envelopes are located at the Check-In / Visitor Registration Centre, and must be completed in full BEFORE you utilize services or facility. Request forms must be submitted /recieved on or before noon (12:00 pm) of the dump day.
Water fill stations are available throughout the campground, POTABLE WELL WATER SUPPLY Station be found on the site plan you receive at Check-In.
NO CONTACT CHECK-IN / VISITOR REGISTRATION CENTRE
We have a No-Contact Check-In Centre. We only offer Camp sites / Cabins / Cottages to guests who have pre-booked or make phone call booking during Office Hours. The No-Contact Check-In Visitor Registration Centre is where your receipt, Check-In documentation. This information has your assigned site information/location and keys for accommodations, bathroom entrance door codes, Wi-Fi passwords, Visitor/Guest Registration forms. The top copy of check in paperwork is the Cougar Creek Copy and MUST be signed upon arrival, and placed in the mail slot BEFORE YOU PROCEED to your camp site, Cabin or Cottage.
Self Help Payment Envelopes for Firewood, Ice, Sani Dump Use, or our Mobile Dump Service are located at the No-Contact Check-In Visitor Registration Centre. If you get our voicemail when you call our office, you need to LEAVE a message, including your name & phone number, your call be returned in order they are recieved. If you do not leave a message, we will assume, you do not require any assistance. You can also leave a note in our mail slot for non urgent matters.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIMES
Cabins: Check-in is 4:00 pm -10:00pm. Check-Out time is 11:00 am.
Campground: Camp Site Check-Ins are permitted from 2:00 pm-10:00 pm. ABSOLUTELY NO Check-Ins Are Permitted after 10:00 pm, as it will disturb other guests. (there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy). Campground Check-Out time is 11 am.
Booking Policy
In order to secure your booking, you need to provide Billing Details (visa or master card) whereby payment will be processed, and confirmation of booking will be emailed to you within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy Cabins / Cottages
From Date of Billing & Confirmation up to 7 days before arrival date you will be charged a $25/night cancel/change fee for any date changes or cancellation. If you provide less than 7 days notice of cancellation, you are charged the full amount of your stay. NO EXCEPTIONS - NO REFUNDS

FIREWOOD
Firewood is available cut, split & dried for $10/wheelbarrow. Due to Mountain Pine Beatle & other parasites DEVASTATION, you are NOT PERMITTED to bring any firewood into the campground Self help payment envelopes must be completed in full BEFORE you utilize any of our services or amenities. Wheelbarrows must be returned to the firewood station promptly, so our staff can refill them for other guests. Guests are NOT PERMITTED to fill their own wheelbarrows or pick through wheelbarrows.
ICE
Ice is available at No-Contact Check-In / Visitor Registration Centre, as well payment envelopes. Payment envelopes MUST be completed In full BEFORE you utilize any of our services or amenities.
BATHROOMS & LAUNDRY
Mens & Ladies washrooms are open 24 hours a day, with door code entry. See your rules & regulations/ CHECK-IN paperwork to obtain door code and advise your camping party accordingly. CHILDREN MUST be supervised in our washroom / bath house facility. Coin Operated Laundry machines are available in the bathrooms. price is $5.00 for washer dyer, the machines takes 5 Loonies. Bathroom facilities are very well maintained & stocked, are checked/cleaned several times a day. Please text or voice message any problems or deficiencies you encounter during your stay. We strive to have the cleanest and best stocked / maintained bath facilities in our area, and your help & feedback is appreciated.
GARBAGE & RECYCLING
There are two large (4 & 6 yd) green garbage bins, with lids for household garbage ONLY. There are also several recycling barrels, located around campground for plastic, cans, glass bottle, milk jug recycling. See Site Plan for location. Please bag all of your garbage, to help reduce scent exposure to wildlife.
WI-FI
Rural WI-FI is available throughout the campground, there is NO high speed available, therefore you are not able to download or upload large files or docs, movies, videos or music, STREAMING is NOT permitted, NO Netflix, No U-Tube, No streaming. Please advise your other camp members & children of this policy, Password is provided on your check-in paperwork. WIFI in back campground area is only active from May 1 – Nov 1. Front campground/cabin area has active WIFI all year.
Cell Service
Cellular service is available, with providers like Bell & Telus you will usually maintain 3 bars. Certain areas like check-in / visitor registration centre, may have reduced service - some calls dropped. The best service is at the main road entry from Hwy 16 & our back campground area. You can ONLY text our staff During office hours at 780-223-2442. You can report problems or deficiencies in campground to 780-740-3953. These cell contacts are for texting ONLY and have poor reception inside the office, calls are dropped due to poor reception.

PLAYGROUND
CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES.
We have a small playground, with swing set, slide, small playhouse, and there is a shallow creek (3” - 20” deep) that runs through the property, a small pond that is approx. 3ft deep in centre. Families are responsible to supervise their children at times.
QUAD FRIENDLY / QUAD-dirt bike trails
Speed limit within the campground is 15km/ hour and is STRICTLY monitored, those who violate speed regulations, on site driving privileges will be revoked completely.
PET FRIENDLY
Pets are permitted at Cougar Creek Cabin & Campground. You must pick up after your pet & they must be leashed at all times. See Bringing Your Pet to Cougar Creek
Pets are an additional $10.00/night for their stay in Cottage or Cabins plus taxes. If pet hair is left throughout the Cottage i.e.) furniture, floor matts, etc…additional cleaning charges will be applied at a rate of $35/hour. (Pets can not be left unattended in Cottages or Cabins. You must pick up after your pet & they must be leashed.
