Information for booking a Family Reunion / Wedding / Party
Group Use RV/Camp Sites with 30 Amp Power and Water as well as Cabins, Cottages and RVs set up on sites & Event Tent, Cook House, with Power, water & full-size fridge, large group fire pit, 2 propane BBQs and 1 Charcoal BBQ (fuel not supplied) can all be tentatively blocked for your event, so your attendees can call and arrange the accommodation of their choice. You are welcome to come early and stay longer enjoy the great Wonders of the Rocky Mountains!
Our Campground is located on 18 acres, surrounded by crown land, with endless miles of quad trails…. right from your door, wilderness, beauty and wildlife are abundant. and only 11 km East of Hinton, Alberta, on Highway 16. We have a large group use area, with 8 (sites 24-31) or 10 (sites 24-33) or complete back camp area has 18 (sites 24-41) Power and water RV sites, we also have fully equipped Cabins (six in total) see attached list for contents, housekeeping is provided on departure only, 3 Rental RVs on power and water sites along the Creekside road, and Cottages named Sugar Shack, Elk Retreat, Cougar Den, Redneck Retreat (these are a camping version of full service cabin….no water, sewer, or satellite TV in Cottages), toilets and showers are in buildings next door to Cottage.
Cottage, RV & Bunk house bookings do not include bedding or towels (you bring your own blankets, pillow, sheets, bath, hand or face towels), rental bedding & towels are available. You are also responsible to clean your Cottage, RV, or bunk house upon departure. We also have Tent Sites close to group use area (sites 20-23) and Non-Serviced RV Sites (sites 42-46). The center group use area is mostly gravel, and tents are not recommended here as ground base is uncomfortable. All camp sites have a fire pit (most with a cooking grill), chopping block & picnic table. The children’s playground and the adult playground are close to the Group Use / Cook House area. A small creek also runs through the property. There is a Sani Dump onsite (fees apply $10/dump, or we offer a mobile dump service at your site $25/dump), men’s and ladies’ bathrooms, with free showers (coin operated laundry). Firewood is available for $10/wheel barrel (13-14 pieces). Because of the devastation on the Mountain Pine Beetle, you CANNOT bring your own firewood. We are quad and Pet friendly (fees apply for pets). You can find full cabins, cottage, RV and camping details on our website.
Event structures & facilities available: 20 x 24 Cook House with power, counters, fridge, water, 2 propane BBQs, (propane not supplied), 1 charcoal BBQ, large firepit area, rents for $100/day, a 40x40 Tent with roof & 4 side walls - LED string lighting, $250/day, 5-foot picnic tables (seats 6) used inside tent $10 each/day, 20x24 Dance Floor $100.00/day. A 10x10 walled tent for your bar service, soon to come an 8x10 Log Tikki Bar. A refundable deposit is also required for these facilities. See Event booking form for all rates & deposits.
You will need to contact us at 780-865-4481, or via email at email@example.com or by completing a reservation request online, note that online booking still requires us speaking on phone to obtain final booking confirmation and credit card details, about a week after booking deadline I will compile a spread sheet with all the attendees, so you can finalize other plans and arrangements. If you take the discounted event package, you will need to supply us with the final confirmed guest booking information.
When your guest calls to make their booking for accommodation (Cabin, Cottage RV, bunk house) we require the 25% deposit from them, and the balance is billed 7 days prior to arrival. Campsite bookings do not require a deposit, but are also billed 7 days in advance of arrival date. If your guest cancels 7 days prior to arrival date they get a full refund. We have a seven-day (from arrival date) cancellation policy for all campsites & cabin, cottage, RV bookings. You will be charged the full amount of the booking if you cancel less than seven days from arrival date – NO EXCEPTIONS - NO REFUNDS.
Upon booking a group event, you will be emailed an info package you can send to your guests as well as further details. We look forward to seeing you!
