Cottages
YOU will need to bring your own bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows), linens and towels for your cottage, You are required to clean your COTTAGE prior to departure.
Running water / bathrooms are located are LOCATED NEAR the cottages.
Cottages are available from Early April to End of November and are closed in the Winter Months.
Cottages are a Camping Version of our fully serviced Cabins. We offer 1 and 2 room Cottages, with NO running water/sewer inside the Cottages. Full service flush toilets / shower and kitchen sink are available close to the COUGAR DEN & ELK RETREAT. The Main Bath/Wash house has full service flush toilets, sinks & showers is near the RED NECK RETREAT & SUGAR SHACK . Cottages are equipped with pots and pans, oven pan dishes, drinking glasses, coffee cups, cutlery, steak knives, cutting knives, serving dishes, serving & cutting utensils, salad bowls, strainer/colander, cutting board, cheese grater, wine opener, potato peeler, Can opener, measuring cup & spoons, scissors, garbage bin, garbage bags, dish soap, dish scrubber, tooth pics, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, creamer & sugar, hand soap, all purpose cleaner, cleaning rag, broom, dust pan, mop and pail, Crib board & playing cards, BBQ Tools, Fire pit (due to mountain pine beetle devastation, you are not permitted to bring any outside firewood to the campground), chopping block, wiener sticks.
Cottages have a Double or queen bed, (plus bunk beds in most cottages). Cottages have a large deck with patio table, outdoor cooking utensils, fire pit in yard (due to mountain pine beetle devastation, you are not permitted to bring any outside firewood to the campground), wiener sticks, wood chopping block.

Weekends require a 2 night minimum booking, and long weekends have a minimum 3 night booking. Contact management for exceptions. Housekeeping services are not provided in Cottages, guests are required to clean cottages before departure.

NO CONTACT CHECK-IN / VISITOR REGISTRATION CENTRE
We have a No-Contact Check-In Centre. We only offer Camp sites / Cabins / Cottages to guests who have pre-booked or make phone call booking during Office Hours. The No-Contact Check-In Visitor Registration Centre is where your receipt, Check-In documentation. This information has your assigned site information/location and keys for accommodations, bathroom entrance door codes, Wi-Fi passwords, Visitor/Guest Registration forms. The top copy of check in paperwork is the Cougar Creek Copy and MUST be signed upon arrival, and placed in the mail slot BEFORE YOU PROCEED to your camp site, Cabin or Cottage.
Self Help Payment Envelopes for Firewood, Ice, Sani Dump Use, or our Mobile Dump Service are located at the No-Contact Check-In Visitor Registration Centre. If you get our voicemail when you call our office, you need to LEAVE a message, including your name & phone number, your call be returned in order they are recieved. If you do not leave a message, we will assume, you do not require any assistance. You can also leave a note in our mail slot for non urgent matters.
If you have an emergency / disturbance or problem during your stay contact 911 or Hinton RCMP 780-865-2455. After hours campground security call out fees will be charged for guests who violate regulations.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIMES
Cabins: Check-in is 4:00 pm -10:00pm. Check-Out time is 11:00 am.
Campground: Camp Site Check-Ins are permitted from 2:00 pm-10:00 pm. ABSOLUTELY NO Check-Ins Are Permitted after 10:00 pm, as it will disturb other guests. (there are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy). Campground Check-Out time is 11 am.
Booking Policy
In order to secure your booking, you need to provide Billing Details (visa or master card) whereby payment will be processed, and confirmation of booking will be emailed to you within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy Cabins / Cottages
From Date of Billing & Confirmation up to 7 days before arrival date you will be charged a $25/night cancel/change fee for any date changes or cancellation. If you provide less than 7 days notice of cancellation, you are charged the full amount of your stay. NO EXCEPTIONS - NO REFUNDS

The Cougar Den Cottage is approximately 340sq ft and is one large room, it has a queen bed and two sets of twin/single bunk beds – total 5 beds. Bed Occupancy = sleeps up to 6 persons. Full size fridge and 2 burner cooktop with small convection oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster & full kitchen contents.

The Elk Retreat Cottage is approximately 15' x 18' or 270sq ft it is two room structure with a queen bed and 1 set of single bunk beds (twin) - total 3 beds. Bed Occupancy = sleeps up to 4 persons and has a full size fridge, range/oven, Microwave, coffee maker, toaster & full kitchen contents. This Cottage is closest to the main bathrooms/shower house.

The Redneck Retreat Cottage is approximately 12' x 16' or 192 sq ft - One room structure and has a full sized fridge, Full size range/oven, Microwave, coffee maker, toaster & full kitchen contents. This Cottage is closest to the main bathrooms/shower house.

The Sugar Shack Cottage is a small 10' x 12' (120sq ft) bunkhouse - One room structure with a 58" bed on bottom bunk and a 37.5" top bunk bed – total 2 beds. Bed Occupancy = sleeps up to 3 persons. It has a small Bar fridge & 2 burner cooktop, toaster oven, Microwave, coffee maker toaster & full kitchen contents. This Cottage is close to the main bathrooms/shower house.

- Minimum 3 night stay on long weekends, minimum 2 nights on regular weekends/weekdays - $40 surcharge for single night stays
- Extra Persons (adults & children) $20/each per night - Infants (under age 2) are no charge
- EXTRA vehicles & trailers $5/night.
- Pets are an additional $10.00/night for their stay in Cottage plus taxes. If pet hair is left throughout the Cottage i.e.) furniture, floor matts, etc…additional cleaning charges will be applied at a rate of $35/hour. (Pets can not be left unattended in Cottages. - TAXES: All rates are subject to 4% Tourism Levy & 5% GST (stays over 30 days taxes are not applicable)
- CANCELLATION POLICY – Cottage fees/charges are billed to customer the day they are booked. Once you complete your reservation request, by providing payment details, you will receive an email confirmation of your booking within 48 hours. From the date of Booking /Confirmation to 7 days before arrival a $25.00/night Change / Cancel fee is charged to all confirmed bookings.
