Campground
Tired of looking out your camper window and having another camper 16 feet away? Don't want to open your door and see your neighbor’s sewer line or camp? Power/water sites are gravel based, and tent sites have sand or wild grass base. Cougar Creek Cabins and Campground's average site size is 30 x 64 feet with trees and natural vegetation around you. We also offer some center sites that are more open, less trees but they are 35-50 ft wide & up to 68 ft long – our pull through sites are located here. We also have smaller campsites with power and water along the creek side road. Tent sites are available (no services at tent site), but you have access to power sources in bathrooms & cook house facility -beautiful spots along our creek, or sites that are able to accommodate multiple tents.
Full Service campsites and some power sites (no water) are open all year. The Main Bathrooms Men’s & Ladies have Flush toilets, Sinks & Showers & Laundry and is Open year round. We offer Daily, Weekly & monthly stays/rates. We also offer Mobile Dump Service (see schedule), whereby we come to your Site / RV and drain your Black & Grey tanks. The mobile dump service operated from March – November.
You can add a sleeping tent on your power water Campsite for additional fee (see rates), the camp sites are gravel based and are not ideal for adding a tent unless you have cots or heavy mattress for sleeping on. Power water campsite rates are based on 6 Persons and 1 unit, 1 vehicle per Campsite additional surcharges will apply to additional, Tent, vehicles, trailers, persons.
COOKHOUSE RENTAL - EXTRA 5ft PICNIC Rental Tables - located near sites 24-33. Cookhouse is Approx. 20 ft x 24 ft shelter 3 sided 1/2 wall (1/2 log bar edge), log structure, with power, lights, USB plug ins, fridge, stainless countertop work area & roughly 3ft high wood burning unit with grill top.

FULL SERVICE SITES
Open all year! These sites are located at the entry of the campground, and are usually used by long term guests who are working in our area. They are exposed to more highway noise and traffic than our back camp or creekside sites. Permitted use is 1 camper/motorhome, 1 vehicle, up to 6 persons (any additional charges apply)POWER (30 Amp) & WATER SITES. We have a self-serve dump station and we also offer Mobile Dump Service (3x/week), whereby we come to your Site / camper and drain your Black & Grey tanks for you. The mobile dump service is operated from March – November. (fees apply). Permitted use is 1 camper/motorhome, 1 vehicle, up to 6 persons (any additional charges apply)

In order to secure your booking, you need to provide Billing Details (visa or master card) whereby payment will be processed, and confirmation of booking will be emailed to you within 48 hours.
Cancellation Policy for ALL CAMPSITES
From Date of Booking up to 7 days before arrival date you will be charged a $5/night cancel/change fee for any date changes or cancellation. If you provide less than 7 days notice of cancellation, you are charged the full amount of your stay. NO EXCEPTIONS - NO REFUNDS
CAMPGROUND CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIMES
Campground Check-in is from 2:00 pm - 11:00pm.ABSOLUTELY NO CHECK INS ARE PERMITTED AFTER 11:00PM (ALBERTA TIME) as it will disturb other guests (there are NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY).
You will be permitted to Park in the entry of the main driveway without services if you arrive after 11:00PM Alberta Time. Campground Security will contact RCMP if you attempt to park your camper after 11:00 PM and you will be evicted without refund.
Check-Out time is 11:00 am.
NO CONTACT CHECK-IN CENTRE
We have a No-Contact Check-In Centre. The No-Contact Check-In Centre is where your Check-In documentation is located upon arrival. This information has your assigned site information/location and keys for accommodations, bathroom entrance door codes, Wi-Fi passwords, Visitor Registration forms.Self Help Payment Envelopes for Firewood or Ice are located at the No-Contact Check-In Centre. If you get our voicemail when you call our office, you need to LEAVE a message, including your name & phone number, your call be returned in order they are received. If you do not leave a message, we will assume you do not require any assistance. You can also leave a note in our mail slot for non urgent matters.
Booking Policy
In order to secure a booking, you need to book ONLINE or Phone the Call Center during operating hours.We will bill your credit card in full on the date you complete your booking.

Sunday: 11 am - 4 pm
All Calls are returned in the order they are received, if you do not leave a voicemail message including your phone number, we will not be able to return your call. Please DO NOT call multiple times, our call staff have a variety of responsibilities (this is not a 24 hour service).

Off Season Call Center Hours: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

Phone calls are checked every 2-3 hours. You must leave a voicemail message which includes your contact telephone number, and we will return your call.

After hours SECURITY CALL OUT FEES will be charged to guests who violate regulations or cause disturbances.
If you run out of propane on BBQ or trip a breaker after 10 pm at night, do not request a CALL OUT. After hour call out fees can range from $150.00 - $250.00

Day use visitors are welcome! The fee for day use is $5.00 per person & $5/vehicle. You are required to complete a Visitor registration form located at our No-CONTACT CHECK IN CENTER.FIREWOOD
Cut, Split & dried firewood is available for $20/load - payment envelopes are located at the No-Contact Check In Centre. Complete the payment envelope (IN FULL) and place into the Drop SLOT at check in COUNTER, before you take your compartment of wood.ICE
Bagged Ice is available at the NO CONTACT Check In Center, payment envelopes are on the wall & Must be Completed in full, with your payment before you take ICE from our Freezers.SELF SERVE SANI DUMP STATION
We have a Self Serve Sani Dump Station on site. The fee for using the Dump Station is $10.00 and is located at the front campground area (beside the bathrooms / laundry facilities) - payment envelopes are located at the Check-In Centre.ON SITE MOBILE DUMP SERVICE
We offer our Mobile Dump Service (3x/week on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday). We come to your Site and drain your Black & Grey tanks, fee for mobile dump service is $30 plus 5% GST. We also offer a list of FREE Dump Stations located in Hinton (if you are traveling Westbound) and Edson (if you are traveling Eastbound). All request forms, instructions & payment envelopes are located at the Check-In / Visitor Registration Centre, and must be completed in full BEFORE you utilize services or facilities. Request forms must be submitted /received on or before noon (12:00 pm) of the dump day.FREE LOANER ADAPTERS, CORDS & WATER LINES
Our power poles are located on every second site, and you may need an extension for power to reach your Camper/RV power or water service. Most Water supply lines are located at the rear of your site, some RVs have 15 amp plug ins, some have 30 amp plug ins. We have adaptors for both 15 amp to 30 amp or 30 amp to 15 amp, as well as 30 Amp Extension Cords and water line hoses. You need to come to the Check-In Centre to fill in the LOANER FORM, follow the instructions on the form, a refundable security deposit will be charged to your credit card & returned (within 48 hours) to credit card account once loaner equipment is returned. ALL LOANER EQUIPMENT MUST be returned to the Check-In Centre. DO NOT leave equipment at your site. Failure to return LOANER equipment to the Check-In Centre will result in full replacement costs being charged to your account.WATER FILL STATIONS
ALL 30 Amp Power Sites have Direct feed water line to connect to your camper. From approximately November to the middle of April, the water in the back campground area is turned off, and powers Only (30 amp) sites.Quad / Dog wash area
Located by Playground Area. Click to view the Site Map. Great for giving your quad or Pet, a little clean up before you load your Quad, ATV, UTV, side by side. Mud & rain can be hazardous on pets, this extra spray hose is great for cleaning up the pets mud etc…COOKHOUSE

Large fire pit beside Cook House (due to mountain pine beetle devastation, you are not permitted to bring any outside firewood to the campground) with benches, & potable water supply beside the building. Location Details
WIFI
Our Wifi connection is rural. There are not high speed services here, no streaming or uploading or downloading large files. Wifi Passwords are provided on your confirmation & check in paperwork.
Cell Service
is also rural, inclement weather will affect the quality of your service. The front & back campground area has the best service. The middle camp area - check in center (low spot) has poorer service for cell phones.
Garbage & Recycle
See our Site Map for Garbage & Recycle Locations - Garbage Bins are the large Green Bins & Recycling are the Barrels located beside large square bins. Recycle barrels are for plastic water bottle/jugs , cans, glass bottles, milk or juice containers, beer & pop cans, liquor bottles.
Bathroom & Laundry Facilities
Our Laundry Facilities are located in the Men’s & ladies washroom and are open 24 hours a day, your check in paperwork / arrival documents will have the access door code for bathrooms. Children must be supervised in the washroom facility.
